What we do
Hands on sessions for ages 5 to 11 covering the British national curriculum. Complex topics made easy to grasp, discussions that apply the knowledge to everyday life, and countless experiments that prove the theory.

Who is Mr. N
Twentyyearsofturning“whydoesthathappen”into“letmeshowyou”.
Mr. N holds a Bachelor of Science in biology from Ithaca College, New York, and is a passionate science teacher with a knack for making concepts stick.
He has passed on his love of science to countless children over more than two decades at one of Sri Lanka's leading international schools, and now brings the same energy to small groups, holiday camps, nature trails and birthday parties across Colombo.

What ages are the science classes for?
Weekly classes run for children aged 5 to 11, split into five levels by age. Holiday camps, nature walks and birthday parties are open to a wider range. Message us and we will point you to the right one.
Where are the classes held?
Weekly classes are held onsite at CIPM Sri Lanka, No. 35C, Vijaya Kumaranatunga Mawatha, Colombo 05, at the entrance adjoining the car park. Nature walks take place outdoors, most often at Viharamahadevi Park in Colombo.
What curriculum do you follow?
Sessions follow the British national curriculum for primary science. Complex topics are broken down so they are easy to grasp, discussions connect the science to everyday life, and every idea is reinforced with an experiment.
Who teaches the classes?
Every session is taught by Mr. N, who holds a Bachelor of Science in biology from Ithaca College, New York, and has taught science to children for more than two decades at one of Sri Lanka’s leading international schools.
How do I enrol my child?
Message us on WhatsApp with your child’s name and age. We will confirm the right level, current availability and fees, usually the same day.
Do you run science birthday parties?
Yes. Mr. N brings the equipment to your home or venue and runs a party of foam eruptions, dry ice clouds and colour changing chemistry for your guests. Get in touch with your date to check availability.
Are the experiments safe for young children?
Yes. Groups are kept small, the dramatic demonstrations are performed by Mr. N with protective equipment while the children watch, and everything the children handle themselves is chosen to be safe for their age group.
